Naturally Dyed Organic Cotton Shawl

$37

Lightweight scarf or a cool evening wrap. Choose the indigo shawl for dual use as a baby swaddle, as the indigo dye is safe and gentle for baby’s skin!

These shawls are hand-dyed by Lady Farmer Mary at her home dye studio, using raw plant dye materials and extracts. Some unevenness of color is normal in naturally hand-dyed items.

100% Organic Cotton, 47" x 47"

Though we’ve followed all the procedures to ensure that your scarf is colorfast, some fading could still occur. To minimize the chances of this happening, wash with like colors in cool water for the first few washings. If it happens after this, or if you think they have faded excessively, let us know!

If you would like to use your scarf as a baby swaddle, we recommend ordering the Indigo as it is most gentle for baby's skin!

The ALMANAC is a private Lady Farmer Community, created exclusively for members.

Inside The ALMANAC, your gift recipient will join a growing community of people who are seeking a slower, more sustainable lifestyle, guided by simplicity, beauty, and connection with the natural world. Hosted by Lady Farmer and led by the rhythms of the seasons, this is a space for us to come together in an exploration of the life-changing paradigm shift of slowing down. Here they will find workshops, articles, activities, recipes, essays, music, and much more on topics such as sustainable food, clothing, the arts of making, and the power of our daily consumer choices. They will join in on member-exclusive events such as themed virtual monthly gatherings and quarterly book club meetings, where they can connect, share with and learn from fellow ALMANAC members on their slow living journey.

Lady Farmer was formed in response to the growing movement of women who identify with nature and its cycles, simple comforts, tradition and sustainability. It has been such a wonderful journey as the Lady Farmer community grows each year with more and more people seeking a slower, more intentional way of life.
