We are thrilled to offer this cowl made from Community Supported Cloth, a Fibershed certified product made of premium Rambouillet wool from Bare Ranch in Northern California, raised with Climate Beneficial™ land management practices and woven by Huston Textile Company.
With a shift in wool production practices such as managed grazing, cultivating and applying compost, windbreaks, creek restorations, water developments and increased use of no till farming practices, each pound of wool produced by Bare Ranch will offset the greenhouse gas footprint associated with production by six to nine times.
By creating a garment with this product, we are supporting producers in connecting the supply chain dots between ranchers and artisans, raw product and fashion.
